The Howland House in Mount Tremper will be hosting the reception and awards ceremony.
Expect a delicious BBQ , live DJ, award winning craft beers from Westkill Brewing and great raffle prizes.

Schedule of Events
Friday, June 7th
7:00am: Teams check in at Catskill Outfitters
8:00am: Shotgun start
4:00pm: Teams return to Catskill Outfitters to register their totals
5:30pm: Reception begins at Howland House, Mount Tremper, NY
7:00pm: Raffle
8:00pm: Awards ceremony
9:00pm: Party continues with live DJ, cocktails, and craft beers from West Kill Brewing
*Dinner, raffle and award ceremony are open to the general public. Bring your family and friends who support your participation in the tournament! Dinner and drink tickets may be purchased in advance or at the event.
The 2023 Catskill Outfitters Fly Fishing Tournament
Team Registration Form
Your team registration will not be completed until full payment is made for both anglers. Only 25 team slots are available, so act fast to secure your team’s spot before they are gone! Single anglers will be paired.
Tournament Rules
Total inches win 1st, 2nd & 3rd places.
Each fish must be 11 inches or above to quality.
Each fish is to be measured using the official tournament ruler issued by Catskill Outfitters and a clear time stamped photograph of each unique fish against the official ruler is required to qualify your fish. Anyone found attempting to duplicate a photo of the same fish will be disqualified with no exceptions.
All fish must be wet while being measured and photographed and returned to the river in good health immediately. Fish must be alive when documented and released alive.
A current NY State fishing license is required to participate in the tournament and must be presented at check-in.
Competitors may use only one fly at a time (no tandem or multi-fly rigs) during the competition. Any angler with more than one fly on the end of their line will be disqualified with no exceptions.
No foul hooking.
Tournament personnel will be present throughout the competition day inspecting all angler equipment to ensure tournament rule compliance. Any angler found violating the tournament rules will be immediately disqualified from the competition with no exceptions.
Anglers must stay within the ‘tournament boundary area’ throughout the competition.
Teams must report back to Catskill Outfitters no later than 4 pm to present their tallies or catches will not be eligible for prizes.
All anglers must consent to be monitored via drone.
No littering of any kind will be tolerated and are grounds for disqualification.
This is an amateur fishing tournament. Professional fly fishermen who compete at the national or international level may not participate.
